Series 10 offers many unique design application advantages. Its unique package design manufactured using materials traceable to UL 94V-0 ratings coupled with its economical price make this relay far superior to competetive relays.

EAC's systems, procedures and controls meet MIL-Q-9858-A, and have been approved by major electronic companies and governmental agencies. Extensive equipment is available for on-line production testing for all reed relays. Quality Control procedures meet all requirements and parameters of MIL-I-45208A.

Series 10 relay family consists of 3 distinct relay types: the RX-2 for dry circuit switching, the Black Beauty for 3 to 20 watt switching, and the Power-MAX for 10 to 50 watt switching.

Series 10 relays are constructed using 94V-0 bobbins and tubes. Reuthenium or rhodium contacts are used exclusively depending on the wattage requirements. Lead wires (0.022 dia.) are plated with easily solderable tin for maximum solderability.

RX-2 is used to switch small voltages and currents in data-loggers, VTVMS, inputs to OP-Amps, and other similar circuits where stability of CR is the prime requisite.

Black Beauty provides exceptional performance at a commercial price. It can be utilized in the normal applications that ordinary 20 watt relays are used. Due to its higher ratings, longer life with superior performance can be expected.

Power Max is specifically designed to meet UL94V-0 while switching a genuine 30 VA. Typical applications are: dial pulsing, triac gate switching, driving other relay coils, turning on small motors used in cassette recorders and lamp bulb switching.
